Content Delivery | QC Specialist
My broadcasting career began in 1980. Fully trained at BBC Evesham as a sound engineer at 18, I then worked as a Technical Operator at BBC Broadcasting House main control room for many years before moving to BBC Bristol to work as a Radio 4 drama mixer in Network Radio, as well as working in the network BBC TV studios there.
I moved into television full time soon after and started at Broadcast Film and Video in 1995, after nearly a decade there, I joined Big Bang post production in 2005. Having a technical background meant I’ve been heavily involved in the infrastructure and on-going operations at Big Bang post production and this naturally led me to become the Content Delivery | Quality Control Manager in charge of reviewing and delivering all material for a wide range of clients, including numerous blue chip BBC NHU productions.
Attention to detail is my strength and I’ve acquired a reputation for having keen eyes and sharp ears. I am a full member of the IPS
